Island Music this Sunday! Eugene Weekly Article!

Category : Uncategorized

Hello everybody — we are excited for our upcoming Island Music event this Sunday.

We’ll be performing on the island just upriver from the Willamette Boat Landing which is adjacent to the the Crystal Lake Sports Fields parking lot. We’re excited that Dave Patana of the Benton County Radio Control Club will be there and helping us make a music video with his drone-mounted cameras. That will be around 2 or 3pm.

We’ll also be collecting art for A People’s Map of Corvallis, our ongoing community art project. We’ll have a table with paper and art supplies set up on the island AND on the beach onshore where you can get a great view of The Barker  Gypsies concert. Look at the maps in our Summer Events page for directions!

And we’re super excited to be in Eugene Weekly! Here’s a link to the article:

Testing drone video at Brian UnWin Airfield

Category : Uncategorized

We’re working out how to get the videos up on the website, for now here’s a still from last weeks test run with our recording equipment, and Dave Patana of the Benton County Radio Control Club getting aerial drone footage. Dave is the President of the BCRCC and maintains the airfield out at Adair Village for use. It’s a beautiful spot!
